The overwhelming number of learners in the UK who achieve a level 3 food safety qualification qualify through Highfield. The Highfield Level 3 Award in Food Safety for Retail (RQF) has developed for food handling supervisors, team leaders and line managers working on a ship. Individuals achieving this qualification will be able to apply the knowledge relating to a supervisor’s role at all stages of food production while at sea. They will understand the role of a supervisor in food preparation and be able to provide examples of effective management that relates to good hygiene practice.

This qualification can be assessed in a classroom environment, or remotely through our Qualify at Home service. Its delivery can also be supported through Highfield training resources and e-learning (written in line with the key learning outcomes of this qualification).
