Moving people who require assistance is a challenging and sensitive issue, and one that requires knowledge and understanding so that it is done safely and with respect and dignity.

The Highfield Level 2 Award in Moving People Safely (RQF) aims to provide learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding needed where the assistance and movement of people is part of their role. The qualification underpinned by the safe principles of moving and handling but recognises the special skills required when assisting and moving people.

It’s suitable for those in work, or starting or returning to work and who need specific training in the movement of people safely. It can also be used as for refresher training.
